L’Ecole des Petits is an international bilingual school that follows the French curriculum with parallel teaching from the English curriculum.
Our method is unique in the manner it combines different languages through different subjects. Children are immersed in both languages and cultures throughout their day at school, whether in class, in the playground, in canteen, in arts and sports or on outings.
In all classes, the pupils have a large amount of English hours:
Petite Section-14ème/Nursery (3-4 yrs old): 5 hours 15 min of English per week
Petite Section-2nd Level B/Nursery (3-4 yrs old): 5 hours 15 min of French per week
Moyenne Section-13ème/Reception (4-5 yrs old): 5 hours 50 min of English per week
Moyenne Section-3rd Level B/Reception(4-5 yrs old): 5 hours 30 min of French per week
Bilingual Grande section/Year 1 (5-6 yrs old): Equal numbers of hours per week
We are proud of the high quality of our teaching and of the high academic standards reached by our pupils.
The school is homologuée by the Ministère de l’Education Nationale and partenaire de l’Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger (AEFE -Agency for French Education Abroad) and registered with the English Department for Education (DfE).
The school is inspected by the Inspector for French National Education as well as by the English Office for Standards Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted).

By taking the best from both systems our children master skills in both languages from an early age and develop adaptive and open-minded capacities in their approach to the world of tomorrow.
All our teachers are qualified with either an English or French degree, with pupils receiving teaching in both languages throughout the day and every day.
They blend the French and English curriculum seamlessly which has given my daughters an international outlook and broadened their horizons.
